At 11:00 am on Friday, October 17, 2008, Mayor Matthew Driscoll, along with other city and community leaders, will celebrate the “Topping Off” of the Jefferson Clinton Commons at 500 South Salina Street. The “Topping Off” indicates that construction has reached the highest point of the structure. To memorialize achieving this point in the project’s development, those in attendance will be invited to sign a steel beam.

The following day, Saturday 10/18/08, Jefferson Clinton Commons will be holding an open house from 1 pm to 5 pm for the public to learn more about the available retail / office space and the residential condominiums. The open house will include a drawing for a weekend stay at the Jefferson Clinton Hotel with dinner in Armory Square. Those who visit will also be given the opportunity to sign the memorial beam.
